Leaving Certificate Examination

Oral Exam

Together we can get those german tongue-twisters well and truly sorted. We'll learn how to create sentences on the hoof and relieve the pressure of rote learning long texts. We'll get speaking from day one so that by the time the oral comes around you'll be in the driver's seat.

Aural Exam

Listening well is about familiarising oneself with new sounds and sentences. This comes from surrounding oneself with the language. But how do we do this while sitting at our desks? We'll approach the listening exam together so that you're not left on your own waiting for that beep.

Written Exam

The written Exam presents the student with a number of different tasks. Whether it's reading, writing and or applied grammar, the paper can seem overwhelming. We'll take it on question by question and section by section, practicing the tricks of the trade to make sure it goes your way on the day.

Oral Exam

When the Leaving Cert is on the horizon past papers are open and vocabulary lists are out. But are you getting chatting?

The oral exam is fifteen minutes. It's a daunting quarter of an hour for the thousands of students who have spent their time reading and writing.

If you're struggling with pronunciation, sentence structures, or memorising vocabulary, or if you just need some help getting over the nerves, together we'll break down the oral and make it manageable, for every student, for every level.

The oral exam is worth 25% of your overall mark.

With the right preparation that 25% is yours for the taking.

So let's get talking.

Why Go Online?

What's the advantage of a Zoom meeting, a FaceTime call, or  Google Meet?

Cost effective

When the class comes to you you get the full value of the learning time without the expense of a trip around the block. There's no petrol and no bus fare. And that's no joke.

Time saving

The commute home from work or from school will be your last journey of the day. When the class comes to you you won't ever have to head out into evening traffic. Easy.

Environmentally friendly

Well, whether it's the desk, the kitchen table, or the couch you can learn in an environment as friendly and familiar as it gets, and you'll always be in the front row.

Where? When? How Much?

All your questions answered.

We've got you covered.

How do I contact Sarah?

Scroll down a little further and you'll find a space to get in touch.

Fill in the form and you'll get a response via email in jig time.

How much do classes cost?

Get in touch with Sarah to discuss the price of a class or a class-pack. Reach out. We're looking forward to hearing from you!

When do classes take place?

That's really up to you. Get in touch to plan days and times that suit you and the learner in your life.

Where do classes take place?

Classes are taught online.  That means Zoom, FaceTime, WhatsApp, Skype, Google Meet etc. You name it, we'll arrange it. Then find a quiet space for you and your thoughts and you're good to go!

How long is a class?

Learning a language requires a lot of repetition. Better do short, frequent stints rather than an all-nighter. Say hello and we'll make a weekly plan to optimise the shortest of attention spans.

Have I left it too late?

No. Learning doesn't take long when you're learning together.

Help, even at the last minute, can bring more clarity than you might think.
